Aimee Pokwatka grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia. She studied anthropology on the College of North Carolina at Greensboro and earned her MFA in Artistic Writing at Syracuse College. His first novel, Self-portrait with nothing was launched in 2022 to broad acclaim. Her work has been printed in Fairy Story Evaluate, Outlook Springs, Starvation Mountain and elsewhere. She lives in New York together with her household.
